Cyberthreats increasingly cross borders and countries. At the virtual Privacy + Security Forum, CEO Frank Luzsicza of Lodestone discussed intelligent and strategic responses to global incidents — here are the key takeaways.
Preparedness for a global cyber incident goes beyond incident response planning. An assessment and understanding of risk, an incident response plan, relevant and actionable threat intelligence, and building global awareness are just a few of the key components necessary for a successful plan. The proper use of cyber intelligence and forensic techniques can significantly accelerate the detection and investigation of incidents, which can include automating evidence collection and selecting dynamic frameworks.
Thank you to the Privacy+Security Academy and our panelists at Debevoise & Plimpton, Equifax, and American Express for the great discussion.
